SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Historic Preservation Commission was established by the McCall City Council in 1995. The original
commission met several times, but then became inactive.
Several current projects in McCall, including the Old McCall Jail Rehabilitation, have highlighted the need
for an active commission. The McCall City Code regarding the Historic Preservation calls for the
appointment of five people to the Commission.
Six people have expressed interest and willingness to serve on the Commission. They are:
Mary Allen-Coordinator of the Central Idaho Cultural Center; 3 year term
Marlene Bailey-Chair of the Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Store; 2 year term
Scotty Davenport-business owner, and member of original Commission; 1 year term
Judy Dinwiddie-member of the CICC Board of Directors; 2 year term
Cindy Gould-local community member; 2 year term
Jevon Truex-local architect; 1 year term
Carol Coyle will serve as staff to the Commission. Bill Housdorf will serve as staff on an advisory basis.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Select and appoint five of the above-mentioned persons to serve on the Historic
Preservation Commission.
