AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT WITH THE
AUDITING FIRM OF HODULIK & MORRISON
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of professional auditing and accounting
services with regard to the preparation of the 2005 Extraordinary aid Application; and
WHEREAS, the Borough's Auditors, Hodulik &Morrison, possesses the requisite
knowledge, skill and experience to complete said professional auditing and accounting
services; and
WHEREAS, Hodulik & Morrison has proposed to perform the above described auditing
and accounting services in an amount not to exceed $2,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have considered said proposal;
WHEREAS, the Chief FinanciaJ Officer has certified that funds are or will be available
for said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
ofCarteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. That the proposaJ of Hodulik & Morrison to provide professional
auditing and accounting services with regard to the preparation of
the 2005 Extraordinary Aid Application in the amount not to
exceed $2,000.00 is hereby approved.
2. That this action is approved as an award of a professionaJ services
contract.
3. That a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Borough's
Purchasing Department and Hodulik & Morrison.
Adopted this 25th day of August, 2005
and certified as a true copy of the
original on August 26, 2005.
