SUMMARY
STATEMENT:
Glenn Gore has submitted his resignation from the Planning & Zoning Commission. The remaining members are Don Bailey and Dottie Moore, both City residents. Two people have
expressed interest in being appointed: Connie Ruyle and Jeff Schoedler. Mrs. Ruyle lives in the Impact Area, and was on the City P&Z before moving outside the city limits. Mr. Schoedler
is a city resident. The P&Z has discussed both candidates and recommends that they be appointed. Both terms would expire in January 2004. A full term is 3 years; these appointments are
being made mid-term.
Assuming Ordinance 765 is adopted, Mrs. Ruyle can serve on the Commission. One additional impact area resident will be needed.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Direct
the Mayor to appoint Connie Ruyle to the Planning & Zoning Commission, term to expire in January 2004.
Direct the Mayor to appoint Jeff Schoedler to the Planning & Zoning Commission,
term to expire in January 2004.
