Without a doubt, the NV County partnership with Visit Truckee-Tahoe and (so many other critical stakeholders
including Town of Truckee) continues to be invaluable in planning and mitigating peak period visitation and higher
residency. While the CCC focuses on short-run, stopgap measures, NV County looks forward to long-term, strategic,
capital investment solutions needed for permanent answers to higher residency, visitation and most critically –
climate change. The forthcoming Truckee Stewardship Council is needed to take this mission on. Thank you for
supporting and approving the Visit Truckee-Tahoe annual TTBID Report. Hardy
