SUMMARY
STATEMENT:
Two grants have been received through the Community Development Department. Line item transfers from Council contingency funds (both revenue and expenditure) will allow these
grant projects to be implemented. A $5,845 grant from the USFS has been awarded to expand the Valley County Recycling Center, on Jacobs Street. No City funds will be used. The grant
funds will be ‘passed-through’ to the County to fund the improvements. A $24,500 grant from USDA Rural Development has been awarded to partially fund a conference center feasibility
study. Additional funds will be provided by the Urban Renewal Agency, McCall Chamber of Commerce, and City of McCall.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve line item transfers #1 and #2
from City Council contingency revenue and expenditures to the Community Development Department.
