Line item transfers from Council contingency funds (both revenue and expenditure) will allow these grant projects to be implemented. A $5,845 grant from the USFS has been awarded to expand the Valley County Recycling Center, on Jacobs Street. No City funds will be used. The grant funds will be ‘passed-through’ to the County to fund the improvements. A $24,500 grant from USDA Rural Development has been awarded to partially fund a conference center feasibility study. Additional funds will be provided by the Urban Renewal Agency, McCall Chamber of Commerce, and City of McCall.  RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve line item transfers #1 and #2 from City Council contingency revenue and expenditures to the Community Development Department.  RECORD OF COUNCIL ACTION  Meeting Date Action  January 24, 2002 AB02-6: Provide $8,750 from the Mayor and Council’s budget as a match for the EDA Technical Assistance Grant; direct staff to finalize the scope of work and contract with Jinneman, Kennedy & Mohn (JKM) to conduct a market feasibility study; authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents to accept the Technical Assistance Grant; and to award a contract to JKM, subject to review by legal counsel.  March 14, 2002 AB02-27: Approved USFS grant application.   June 13, 2002 Suspended the rules, read by title only, one time only Ordinance No. 766, adopted Ordinance No. 766 and authorized the Mayor to sign.
