SUMMARY
STATEMENT:
During the course of work for Robert Allis and other owners of the land immediately north of the Cemetery, Kerr Surveying has discovered small discrepancies in the descriptions
of the Allis parcel, the Cemetery parcel, and the Stibnite Street right-of-way. The discrepancies are based on slightly differing locations for the common section corner of sections
8, 9, 16, and 17 (just north of Stibnite, along Mission Street).
Attached are surveys identifying the discrepancies, as well as new descriptions for each parcel which correct the discrepancies.
On behalf of their clients, Kerr Surveying has prepared these descriptions and asks the City’s assistance in resolving the problem. Robert Allis, and the other owners, have agreed to
execute quit claim deeds to the City.
The City does not give up any land, nor incur any costs. This process simply resolves discrepancies in the descriptions.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Direct staff to prepare quit claim deeds as described, and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
