Minutes-October 14, 2021

The meeting was called to order at 12:01 p.m.
Ten persons were present as follows

Approval of September 23, 2021 minutes
Moved by Fleischmann; seconded by Backes that the minutes from the September 23, 2021 Board Meeting be
approved. Motion carried.

New Business
Lt. Stiefermann provided an update on current Police Officer, Communications Operator, Animal Control
Manager and Animal Control Officer vacancies.
There are currently four Police Officer and two Communications Operator vacancies. One person tested for
Police Officer on October 8, 2021. A Communications Operator position was offered and accepted. Interviews
are being conducted for the Communications Operator supervisor position. Two Animal Control Officers have
been interviewed; one accepted and will start work on Monday, October 17, 2021. Advertising for the Animal
Control Manager position has closed and several applications were received.

Motion by Backes, second by DuPuis for the Police Personnel Board to go into closed session at 12:10 p.m.
pursuant to RSMo.610.021 of the revised Statutes of Missouri; the motion passed.
Roll call was as follows:

End Closed Session
Motion by Klindt, second by Backes for the Police Personnel Board to come out of closed session at 12:20 p.m.
pursuant to RSMo.610.021 of the revised Statutes of Missouri; the motion passed.
