CALL TO ORDER
The August 9, 2010, Council Work Session was convened at 5:31 P.M. by Mayor John
Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Griffith, Harvey, Koon, *Medin, Penfold, Pope, Scrivner, Struemph,
and Weber
Absent: Carroll, *Medin (arrived at 5:53 P.M.)
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Sewer System Improvements Issues
Assistant Community Development Director Charles Lansford introduced the topic with a
brief overview, then turned it over to Eric Seaman who gave a detailed report. Following the
presentation, he answered several questions asked by the Council.
*Councilman Ron Medin arrived during this discussion (5:53 P.M.)
City Counselor Nathan Nickolaus made a presentation regarding procurement policies and
procedures, followed by a period of questions and answers. A lengthy discussion was held
regarding various options. The Council will continue to discuss the topic in the months to
come to decide what policies it wishes to address specifically.
