Introduction: General Plan Organization
An Environmental Justice Element was requested to be included a number of times in preparation of the GP process. There has not been a clear
explanation as to why this was not included. I am concerned that without reference to this element or the tenets of an Environment Justice component,
we will continue to build housing in harmful locations. Additionally, I am concerned that without this element we will continue to allow many of our
citizens to live in substandard conditions.
