Call to Order:
Meeting was called to order at 12:02 pm by Chair Holly Stitt.
New Business:
Amy informed commission members that approximately $8,500 has been requested in Parks
budget in next fiscal year to support website maintenance, marketing/advertising, Sculpture on
the Move, supplies, and events. She requested that members determine how much funding to
request from City funds and plans for those funds.
Discussion covered options for an improved grant program, sponsorships, focus on promotion
and marketing, and public art installations.
After deliberation, Heidi moved to request $3,000 in City funds to invest in a permanent public
art project. Mitchell seconded the motion. The motion passed with all voting in favor.
