With building decarbonization, I’d like to understand how we will make the permitting process easier, faster,
and less costly for residents and businesses who want to decarbonize their buildings with items such as
retrofits, electrification, etc.? If we want to encourage building decarbonization, we must construct policies
and actions that incentive that. I do note that we discuss streamlining permitting processes for new
development in CAP-8.B.
