Introduction: The GP Update Process section
I participated in GPAC from the outset, mostly as a member and a few times as a public citizen. I don't feel there was ever clear direction provided from
GPAC at any time. There were comments shared but there was never a recommendation made to the Planning Commission or Town Council for a
preferred land use alternative. Often there was push back from the GPAC that members didn't feel their voices or the public's voices were being heard
or reflected in the information provided by Ascent. This was a theme carried throughout the process.
