Approval of Agenda: Mitchell moved and Heidi seconded approval of the agenda. Motion carried on a voice vote, with all voting in favor. Approval of Minutes: Emily moved and Heidi seconded approval of the October 20 minutes as published. Motion carried on a voice vote with all voting in favor. New Business: Leann reported that Soccer Dude was damaged. It has been removed from Ellis-Porter Riverside Park. Due to the sculpture material and risk of future damage, it will not be replaced. Funds for year two of the sculpture rental will be used to commission a mural on the exterior wall at McClung Park indoor pavilion. A call-to-artists will be published with a deadline in mid- December. Leann will have submittals available for review at the December Cultural Arts Commission meeting to narrow the selection down to two finalists. The project will be awarded through a community engagement process by December 21. Old Business: Amy updated commission members on the application progress for the Capitol Avenue mural. Permissive use of the fence to install the mural will be discussed at the December 10 Planning and Public Works committee meeting. JC Parks Cultural Arts Specialist Report: Leann conducted committee member interviews for the Community Park Sculpture Series call- to-artists. Historic City of Jefferson has provided transcripts from past Historic Foot District community interviews. The call-to-artists will be ready to publish in the next month.
