Call to Order:
Meeting was called to order at 12:01 pm by Chair Holly Stitt.
Approval of Agenda:
Mitchell moved and Heidi seconded approval of the agenda. Motion carried on a voice vote, with
all voting in favor.
Approval of Minutes:
Jim moved and Heidi seconded approval of the November 17 minutes as published. Motion
carried on a voice vote with all voting in favor.
New Business:
No new business.
Old Business:
Amy updated commission members on the application progress for the Capitol Avenue mural.
Permissive use of the fence to install the mural was discussed at the December 10 Planning
and Public Works committee meeting. The committee voted to forward the application to City
Council for final approval at the December 21 Council meeting.
Leann reported that three designs had been submitted for the McClung Park mural. She will
forward the submittals to commission members for review and then post the finalists for a public
vote.
JC Parks Cultural Arts Specialist Report:
Leann stated that the call-to-artists for Community Park Sculpture Series has been completed
and will be distributed to several arts organizations.
