Call to Order:
Meeting was called to order at 12:02 pm by Chair Holly Stitt.
Approval of Agenda:
Jim moved and Katy seconded approval of the agenda. Motion carried on a voice vote, with all
voting in favor.
Approval of Minutes:
Jim moved and Katy seconded approval of the December 15 minutes as published. Motion
carried on a voice vote with all voting in favor.
New Business:
Ahnna Nanoski with City of Jefferson Department of Planning and Protective Services
presented the “Activate Jefferson City 2040” draft comprehensive plan update. Final rounds of
public input are currently available through a survey and worksheet. The update includes a
theme focusing on Capital Culture and Healthy Living which addresses public art access.

JC Parks Cultural Arts Specialist Report:
Leann reported that the McClung mural project was completed in January. The Capitol Avenue
mural will begin once the plaque has been installed. “Love Is the Answer” was the Sculpture on
the Move piece that was awarded to the commission and will be installed by the playground at
Ellis-Porter Riverside Park. The Vivion Field baseball sculpture was created and installed by
staff in January. Porchfest JCMO date has been changed to June 13.
