Approval of Agenda: Jim moved and Emily seconded approval of the agenda. Motion carried on a voice vote, with all voting in favor. Approval of Minutes: Heidi moved and Jim seconded approval of the April 20 minutes as published. Motion carried on a voice vote with all voting in favor. New Business: No new business. Old Business: Amy presented the draft mural code amendment prepared by Planning Department in October 2020. After discussion, Heidi moved to approve all amendments as written in the draft mural code amendment. Emily seconded the motion. The motion passed with all voting in favor. At the recommendation of Councilwoman Ward, Amy will forward the draft to Law Department for review. JC Parks Cultural Arts Specialist Report: Leann reported that “Love Is the Answer” Sculpture on the Move piece was installed May 18 at Ellis-Porter Riverside Park. The Capitol Avenue mural is complete. “Adjacent” sculpture will be installed June 18 and will be dedicated during the Juneteenth celebration on June 20. Porchfest JCMO was held June 13 and had 15 porches, 40 artists, and approximately 3,000 attendees. Lori Jobe was hired as the executive director of Capital Arts Gallery. Their trivia night is scheduled for June 24. Other Business: No other business. Adjourn: With no further business, Holly adjourned the meeting at 12:52 pm.
