RE: J-DITCH – PRIMARY PUMP STATION UPGRADE
BID SUMMARY AND NOTICE OF AWARD
Dear Mr. Keating:
We publicly opened and read the bids for the Primary Pump Station Upgrade On October 24, 2002, at 2:00 PM.
We received four bids, and they all appear responsive. The bids are tabulated below and a detailed bid
breakdown is attached.
Bidder Base Bid
Challenger Electric $135,000
Riverside, Inc. $137,461
Capital City Plumbing $158,425
Sommer Construction $174,700
Challenger Electric is the apparent low responsive bidder. We therefore recommend contract award for the
J-Ditch – Primary Pump Station Upgrade to Challenger Electric in the amount of $135,000. The Notice of
Award is attached for your review and City execution.
