Re: Change in tuition fees for gymnastics lessons.
Heartland Gymnastics would
like to propose a change in tuition fees for the fall session beginning September 9, 2002.
We currently have classes priced at $32.00 per month for McCall residents and $38.40 for
non-residents for a one-hour class, once a week. When new students enroll, they must pay an $18.00 registration fee, which covers insurance costs. The following is a list of current
prices for up to 4 hours a week:
Residents: Non-residents:
$32.00 1 hour $38.40
$48.00 2 hours $57.60
$60.00 3 hours $72.00
$72.00 4 hours $86.40
We are
looking at making two changes in our tuition. First, we would like to change the tuition to $34.00 per month and take out the $18.00 registration fee. Most of our students attend gymnastics
for 9 months out or the year and the $2.00 per month increase would cover the $18.00 insurance fee. Many people are hesitant to enroll when there is a registration fee because they feel
like they have to commit to the entire year. The new tuition would be set at $34.00 per month for McCall residents and $40.00 per month for non-residents, for a one-hour class, once
a week. The following shows the proposed new prices for up to 4 hours a week:
Residents: Non-residents:
$33.50 1 hour $40.00
$50.00 2 hours $59.00
$62.00 3 hours $74.00
$74.0
0 4 hours $88.00
The second change that we would like to see is a sibling discount for families with more than one child in the program. The first child or most expensive class
would pay full price and the additional child(ren) would have a $4.00 discount. We have currently have approximately 25 families in our program. We believe that this would help us
draw more families into the program.
Please take a moment to consider our changes for the fall session beginning September 9, 2002. We appreciate your time and feel the changes will
help grow the Heartland Gymnastics program.
Sincerely,
Suzi Woodall
Director, Heartland Gymnastics
