SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Attached is a recommendation from City Engineer,
Holladay Engineering, Inc. Septage is the most concentrated and highest cost to treat. Septage is not generated from the City or Sewer District customers. It is hauled to the McCall
WWTP from as far away as Council.
The industry standard is to charge based on full-loaded truck volumes regardless of actual quantity, no exceptions.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve
recommended septage dumping fees from 2.5 cents per gallon to 4 cents per gallon and a minimum charge equal to the fully-loaded truck volume rate.
