SUMMARY STATEMENT:
At the August 14 meeting, the City Council established the value of the land to be exchanged as $2.08 per square foot. Using that value, Parcel
A (to be granted to the City) is valued at $1,803; Parcel B (to be granted to the applicant) is valued at $3,370. If the land exchange is approved, the net due to the City would be $1,567.
Ordinance
781 authorizes the land exchange. An Exchange Agreement is being drafted, identifying Mr. Schoonover’s obligations. The Agreement will be provided to the Council.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Suspend the rules and read Ordinance 781 one time only, by title only; Adopt Ordinance781, approving the property exchange.
Approve the Exchange Agreement.
Authorize the Mayor to sign
all necessary documents.
