The meeting was called to order by Mr. Schwartze at 8:15 a.m., a quorum was present at that
time.

2. Acceptance of the October 7, 2021 meeting minutes
Mr. Kross made a motion to approve the minutes. Mr. Diemler seconded the motion; all
members were in favor of motion. Minutes approved as written.
3. New Business
a) Request to prohibit parking on the east side of Mulberry Street, between West Cedar
Way and West Dunklin Street. (Requestor: Mr. Nathan Jones with McKnight Tie)
Mrs. Griffin gave the staff report. A second request was also received from Mr. Fechtel
at Fechtel Beverage. After discussions, the two requestors (McKnight Tire & Fechtel
Beverage) would like to submit a combined request for parking prohibited on the east
side of Mulberry Street, from Dunklin to 50 feet north of Cedar Way, Monday thru
Friday, 6 am – 5 pm.
Both requestors were present and spoke on their behalf.
APPROVED November 4, 2021
Group discussion occurred. Mr. Diemler made a motion to prohibit parking on the east
side of Mulberry Street from West Dunklin Street to 50 feet past Cedar Way Monday-
Friday 6am-5pm as requested. Mr. Towner seconded the motion. Further discussion
occurred. Mr. Diemler made a motion to amend the original motion to include the
clarification, 50 feet north from the north curb of Cedar Way. Mr. Brooks seconded
the amendment. All members were in favor, motion amendment passes.
The amended motion is to prohibit parking on the east side of Mulberry Street, from
West Dunklin Street to 50 feet north of the north curb of Cedar Way, Monday thru
Friday, from 6am-5pm. All members were in favor, motion passes.
b) Request to extend the prohibited parking on the south side of Oscar Drive, to include
the areas between the driveways on the south side of the street. (Requestor: Mr. Dave
Williford)
Mrs. Griffin gave the staff report. Staff would support the majority option of the
neighborhood, but would caution removing parking could increase roadway speeds.
The requestor was present and spoke on his behalf.
After a discussion between commission members, Mr. Staub made a motion to prohibit
parking on Oscar Drive for 50 feet (two spaces) east of the westerly/upper driveway
to improve sight distance down the hill and staff monitor this to see if this is an
adequate distance. Mr. Kross seconded the motion. All members were in favor, motion
passes.

a) Approval of 2022 meeting calendar
Mr. Towner made a motion, Mr. Brooks seconded the motion to approve the 2022
meeting calendar. All members were in favor, motion passes.
6. Adjourn
A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Mr. Towner, and seconded by Mr.
Brooks. All members were in favor of motion. Meeting adjourned at 8:46 a.m.
