SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Following Cathleen’s departure we explored filling the position as a clerk/treasurer and as two separate positions. The intent was to make a decision based on the talent available,
ideally filling the position as a clerk/treasurer. We received a number of applications from highly qualified people and I have extended a conditional offer of employment to Barbara
Bauer, conditions include drug testing, background checks, and Council confirmation of my appointment. Barbara’s resume is attached. She will start no later than February 10, 2003.
RECOMMEN
DED ACTION: Confirm the City Manager’s appointment of a new Finance Director/City Clerk.
