I cannot imaging driving through Truckee and not being able to look up and see all of the Historic homes on High St. That is part of Truckee's charm,
character and history. To drive though and see the tall modern mountain structures will be such a detriment to the Town. Please do not allow the structures
to exceed above the High St level in the downtown corridor above Jibboom St. There is plenty of room to build at the Jibboom St level and not exceed the
level of High St.
I live on High St and the parking issue is already a nightmare. There would be nowhere for people to park. Also, the high speed of cars on High St is out of
control and it truly is only a one lane road during the winter. If you are driving up the steep part of High St, you have to back down to allow another car to
pass. If there is ice on High St there is one car accident after the next not to mention the extreme danger of pedestrians walking on High St.
