SUMMARY STATEMENT:
On September 2 the Planning & Zoning Commission
conducted a public hearing on the McCall Sale, a timber sale proposed by the Idaho Department of Lands. Per MCC 3–27–020(P), the City Council may provide the Dept. of Lands with a “statement
of [the] Council's concerns and recommendations.” The P&Z developed three recommendations for the Council’s consideration.
Attached is the original notice of the timber sale from the
Dept. of Lands, the minutes of the P&Z meeting, and a draft letter incorporating the P&Z’s recommendations.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt the P&Z’s recommendations as the Council’s
own and authorize the Mayor to send the draft letter to the Idaho Department of Lands.
