INSTRUCTIONS TO VOTERS:
To vote on the following question, place a cross (X) in the small square according to
the way you desire to vote on the question. All distinguishing marks are forbidden and make the ballot void. If you, by mistake or accident, mark, tear, or deface or otherwise mutilate
this ballot, return it to the election judges and obtain another ballot. Mark only with pencil or pen.
QUESTION: Shall the City of McCall, Idaho adopt Ordinance No. 785 providing for
the imposition and collection of $300,000 over a period of two (2) years from its effective date, beginning with the 2004 property tax assessment upon all real, personal and operating
property within the City limits of the City of McCall, a property tax override levy, to-wit:
(A) The revenues derived from of said property tax override levy shall be used only for
to provide funds for the purchase of necessary equipment and the maintenance of the McCall Municipal Golf Course
(B) The McCall City Council shall certify property tax override expenses
and revenue within the City of McCall Golf fund the amount of $150,000 in September 2004 and $150,000 in September 2005 to be collected by the Valley County Tax Collector on behalf of
the City of McCall in the same manner as all other property taxes.
(C) This Property Tax Override Levy shall not be certified for more than two years of property tax collections.
