SUMMARY STATEMENT: Council directed
staff to prepare a request for proposal to seek a consultant to review the economic benefits to the community derived from the McCall Municipal Golf Course. This directive was based
in part on the offer by the McCall Golf Foundation to provide funding. Council also discussed a proposal to evaluate the operation of the Course, and combining the two tasks is the
logical course of action. Attached is a draft RFP for Council review. Rich Hormaechea met with the City Manager and confirmed the Foundation’s commitment to partially fund the work.
When the proposals arrive, staff will work with the Foundation on cost sharing.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the RFP and direct staff to advertise the RFP.
