SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Valley County Commissioners have responded to the City’s request
for an Impact Area proposal that would be suitable to the Commissioners. Two draft ordinances were submitted to the City Council. One proposal would create a separate Impact Area-only
Planning & Zoning Commission. The second proposal would assign Impact Area responsibilities to the Valley County Planning & Zoning Commission. The first proposal was not analyzed.

is a draft ordinance, incorporating the County’s proposed language with some revisions. The revisions are identified in strikethrough or underline.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Read Ordinance
788 by title only, first reading only.
Submit Ordinance 788 to the Valley County Board of County Commissioners for their consideration.
