SUMMARY STATEMENT: The McCall Public Library has been investigating the cost of upgrading the furnace. We have
had a huge amount of cost and inconvenience with the old oil furnace, and a new, clean propane furnace would be wonderful. The original estimate for putting in the furnace was $4750.
While checking on costs, we received an amazing offer. A-1 Electric is starting a branch here in McCall, and they have given us a proposal to donate a Lennox furnace to the library,
we would only have to pay the cost of the labor to install it. We will publish the attached press release following Council approval of this acceptance of the donation.
RECOMMENDED
ACTION: To accept the offer to donate a Lennox furnace for the library, and publicly thank A-1 Electric for the donation.
