AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL,
ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT
FROM INDIANA STATE BUDGET AGENCY
WHEREAS, The Indiana State Budget Agency has grant funding available; and
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond desires to submit a grant application to assist with the costs associated for a Storm Water Quality Management Plan (SWQMP) that will be required by IDEM
in the future as part of the NPDES Phase ll storm water regulations; and
WHEREAS, no local match is required for this grant
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as follows:
The City of Richmond is hereby authorized to submit a grant application to the Indiana State Budget Agency top assist with the costs associated for a Storm Water Quality Management Plan
(SWQMP) that will be required by IDEM on the future as part of the NPDES Phase ll storm water regulations.
The City of Richmond is authorized to accept said grant funding in an amount up to Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00).
Said funds, if awarded to the City of Richmond, shall be appropriated for assistance with the costs associated for a Storm Water Quality Management Plan (SWQMP) that will be required
by IDEM in the future as part of the NPDES Phase ΙΙ storm water regulations
Passed and adopted this 5th day of November, 2001, by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
