SUMMARY STATEMENT:
ITD has agreed to pay 1/2 the cost of the new Vortech stormwater treatment system in Art Roberts
Park, up to a total of $25,000. The attached Cooperative Agreement and Resolution formalize the agreement.
The Vortech unit was installed last fall and is fully functional. The sidewalk
was repaired last week. The park will restored, with additional topsoil and sod, within two weeks. The total cost incurred or committed so far is $37,850.52. Payment has been made from
the Streets fund (24-53-702 and 24-53-601). ITD’s portion will be reimbursed to the Streets fund.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution 03–6, and authorize the Mayor to sign the Cooperative
Agreement with ITD.
