GULF STREAM, FLORIDA ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 1991 AT 5:01 P.M.

PUBLIC HEARING HELD BY THE TOWN COMMISSION ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 1991
AT 5:01 P.M. IN THE GULF STREAM TOWN HALL, 100 SEA ROAD, GULF STREAM,
FLORIDA.
I. Call to Order Mayor Koch called the meeting to order at 5:01 P.M.

A. Explanation and discussion of the percentage by which (if any)
the tentative millage rate exceeds the rolled back rate.
Finance Director Gwynn stated that the Tentative Tillage
Rate of 3.3059 for operating purposes does not exceed the rolled back
rate and is in fact .0050% under the rolled back rate.
B. Comment from the Commission and the Public.
Mr. McGraw, Town Resident speaking from the audience,
complimented the Commission on the fine job they did with the budget.
A letter from Commiss finer Stahl urging the Commission to meet the
rolled back rate and / ndeavor to maintain the same level of expenses
as that of the current fiscal. year was made a part of the record.
IV. Adoption of Final Millage Rate for Fiscal Year 1991 -1992.
Commission Armour moved and Commissioner Wallace seconded that a
Final Millage rate of 3.3059 mills be adopted for the operating fund and a
rate of .8141 mills be adopted for the debt service fund. Roll Call:
Comm. Wallace; AYE, Comm. Armour; AYE, and Mayor Koch; AYE.
V. Resolution No. 91 -4 Establishing a Tax Levy based on the 1991-
i»c xoll.
Commissioner Armour moved and Commissioner Wallace seconded that
C Resolution No. 91 -4 establishing a Tax Levy for the operating fund of
3.3059 mills against the assessed valuations of all taxable real and
personal properties within the Town of Gulf Stream be adopted. Roll
Call: Comm. Wallace; AYE, Comm. Armour; AYE, and Mayor Koch; AYE.
VI. Resolution No. 91 -5 Establishing a Voted Debt Service Tax Lev
Commissioner Wallace moved and Commissioner Armour seconded that
Resolution No. 91 -5 establishing a voted debt service tax levy against
the assessed valuations of all taxable real and personal properties
within the Town of Gulf Stream be adopted. Roll Call: Comm. Wallace;
AYE, Comm. Armour; AYE, and Mayor Koch; AYE.

VII. Adoption of Final Budqet for Fiscal Year 1991-
uommissi.oner Wallace moved that the Final Budget in the amount of
$1,149,900 for the fiscal year 1991 -1992 be adopted. The motion was
seconded by Commissioner Armour. Roll Call: Comm. Wallace; AYE, Comm.
Armour; AYE, and Mayor Koch; AYE.
VIII. Resolution No. 91 -6 Appropriating Funds for the Fiscal Year 1991 -1992.
C� Commissioner Wallace moved and Commissioner Armour seconded that
Resolution No. 91 -6 appropriating funds for the fiscal year 1991 -1992
in the total amount of $1,149,900 be adopted. Roll Call: Comm. Wallace;
AYE, Comm. Armour; AYE, and Mayor Koch; AYE.
IX. Adjournment
Mayor Koch adjourned the meeting at 5:10 P.M. on a motion by
Commissioner Wallace which was seconded by Commissioner Armour with all
voting AYE.
