CALL TO ORDER
The November 15, 2010, "Pre- Meeting" Work Session was convened at 5:48 P.M. by Mayor
John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: *Carroll (arrived at 5:50 P.M.), Griffith, Harvey, Koon, Medin, Penfold,
Pope, Scrivner, Struemph, and Weber
Absent: None
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Bill 2010 -89 (surtax settlement) - Mayor John Landwehr stated that the County Collector
has asked the Council to suspend the rules so the County can begin making payments as
soon as possible. Councilman Rich Koon stated he will request suspension of the rules.
Bill 2010 -83 (placing lodging tax on February ballot) - Councilman Ron Medin states he
plans to place this on the Informal Calendar to allow the Council to hold a special meeting
to get more information. Discussion was held regarding the best date for a Special Council
meeting, and November 22 at 5:30 appeared to be the best date. The date will be finalized
in the next couple of days so that the media and public can be notified.
