You are the apparent successful bidder and have been awarded a contract for Colorado St./Syringa Drive Improvements and Rio Vista Sewer Improvements. The Contract Price of your contract is Four Hundred fourteen thousand, five hundred one Dollars and no cents ($ 414,501.00) This Notice of Award is enclosed with a copy of the proposed Contract Documents (except Drawings). Three sets of Drawings will be delivered separately or otherwise made available to you. You must comply with the following precedent conditions within seven days of the date of this Notice of Award, that is by Thursday, June 19 , 2003. 1. You must deliver to the ENGINEER fully executed documents as outlined in the Instruction to Bidders including Non-Collusion Affidavit, Affidavit of Payment or Securement of all Taxes, Performance-Payment Bonds, State Tax Commission Public Works Contract Report and certificates of insurance. 2. Upon receiving the above documents, a contract signing meeting will be scheduled by the ENGINEER at which time all counterparts of the agreement will be signed as required by the documents. Failure to comply with these conditions within the time specified will entitle OWNER to consider your bid abandoned, to annul this Notice of Award and to declare your Bid Security forfeited. Within seven days after you comply with those conditions, OWNER will return to you two fully signed counterparts of the Agreement with the Contract Documents attached.
