SUMMARY
STATEMENT:
As a result of the Aspen Ridge subdivision, construction will begin on the northern leg of Spring Mountain Boulevard, connecting to Lick Creek Road, this summer. The developer
will construct the road and bike path up to the gravel base course. The City will pave the road and bike path next summer. The road crosses the Joe Scott property, within a right-of-way
(ROW) previously acquired for the City.
Mr. Scott would like to realign the portion of the road across his property. The attached sketch map shows the existing and proposed alignments.
The current 60' wide ROW contains a 12" water line. Mr. Scott is proposing to realign the road within a 70' wide ROW. The City will retain a 20' easement over the existing waterline.
RECOMMENDED
ACTION:
Authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents to realign Spring Mountain Boulevard across the Joe Scott property.
