SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Attached is the complete record for VAC–03–2. The Planning & Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing on May 6 and recommends that the
City Council vacate the requested portion of Carmen Drive. The result of the vacation will be a smooth 70' wide right-of-way along Carmen Drive. Attached are draft Findings & Conclusions
for the City Council, incorporating the P&Z’s Findings & Conclusions and making them the Council’s own.
Ordinance 777 vacates the requested portion of the right-of-way. The attached
quit-claim deeds convey the vacated portions of the right-of-way to the abutting property owners.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt the draft Findings and Conclusions for VAC–03–2.
Suspend
the rules and read Ordinance 777 one time only; Adopt Ordinance 777.
Authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
