SUMMARY STATEMENT: Following Mike
Becker’s departure we advertised for a new airport manager and received a number of applications from qualified people. The Airport Advisory Committee, Bill Keating, and I reviewed
the applications and selected individuals for interviews. Lloyd Arnold was our combined choice as the best person to replace Mike following the interview process. A copy of his resume
is attached for your review. I have extended a conditional offer of employment to Lloyd, conditions include drug testing, background checks, and Council confirmation of my appointment.
Lloyd will start June 24th, provided all conditions are met.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Confirm the City Manager’s appointment of a new Airport Manager contingent on background and
drug screening results.
