A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
THE MAINTENANCE OF THE LYNWOOD SEWER SYSTEM PROJECT AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO MAKE THE NECESSARY FUNDS
APPROPRIATION AND TRANSFER
WHEREAS, the City's sewer system consists of 430,000 linear feet of sewer
pipelines that need routine cleaning; and
WHEREAS, in order to prevent sewer overflows, half of the system now is
needed to be cleaned; and
WHEREAS, the sewer cleaning service cost is estimated at $145,000; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to keep the City's sewer system in a well-
maintained condition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Lynwood City Council approves the Maintenance of the
Lynwood Sewer System Project, as referenced above.
Section 2. That the City Manager or designee is authorized to make the
following funds appropriation and transfer:

Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7th day of April, 2009.
