A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING
THE TEEN CENTER ROOF REPLACEMENT PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 4011.67.877
AS BEING COMPLETE AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO PROCESS
THE RECORDATION OF THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION
WHEREAS, on December 16, 2008, the City Council awarded a contract to
Letner Roofing Co., in the amount of $104,780 for the Teen Center Roof Replacement
Project; and
WHEREAS, the project construction started on January 21, 2009, and was
completed on March 17, 2009; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works conducted the final inspection on
March 23, 2009 and found that all work is complete in accordance with the project plans
and specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood accepts the Teen
Center Roof Replacement Project, Project No. 4011.67.877 as complete in accordance
with the contract documents; and, authorizes the City Engineer to record the Notice of
Completion.
Section 3. This resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7~h day of April, 2009.
