SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Historic Preservation Commission has one vacancy. The Council appointed Ila
Archer to fill that vacancy in April, 2003, but Ms. Archer had to decline for personal
reasons. Two people have shown interest in serving on the Commission, Pat Eames
and Scotty Davenport. Ms. Eames has submitted a letter requesting appointment to the
Commission, which is attached. The Historic Preservation Commission recommends
appointment of Pat Eames to the Commission.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Appoint Pat Eames to the Historic Preservation Commission, with term expiring in May,
2005.
