A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING
AN IRREVOCABLE EASEMENT OFFER OF DEDICATION FOR STREET PURPOSES
AT 3601 CARLIN AVENUE
WHEREAS, the conditions of approval for the development of a detached two
story residence, with an attached 2-car garage at 3601 Carlin Avenue (SPR Case 2007-
26) requires an irrevocable easement offer of dedication fora (5) feet wide strip along
Carlin Avenue (see attachment "A").
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has determined that the said
five (5) feet dedication is needed for future street widening purposes; and
WHEREAS, as part of the conditions of approval, the developer has agreed to an
irrevocable easement offer of dedication for street purposes; and
WHEREAS, the five feet of dedication has been analyzed and approved by the
City Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council accepts the irrevocable easement offer of
dedication for street purposes from Mr. Rosendo Corona and Maria Elena Corona as
described below:
The southerly five (5) feet of the westerly fifty (50) feet of Lot 908 of Tract No. 3172, in
the City of Lynwood, in the County of Los Angeles, State of California, as shown on Map
recorded in Map Book 3, page 399 of maps, in the office of the Los Angeles County
Recorder. Assessor's No. 6175-024-020. Commonly Known as 3601 Carlin Avenue,
Lynwood, CA 90262
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7~h day of April, 2009.
