ORDINANCE NO. /&2.DO
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING A
SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION TO THE JEFFERSON CITY POLICE
DEPARTMENT AMENDING THE 2021-2022 ANNUAL BUDGET AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXPENDITURE OF SUCH FUNDS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby granted a supplemental appropriation within the
Jefferson City Police Department Budget in the amount of $26,397 as outlined in Exhibit
A attached hereto.
Section 2. The Jefferson City Police Department is authorized to utilize this
money for the purchase of ballistic shields and a drone using Drug Forfeiture Justice
Funds.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage and approval.

The Reserve for Drug Forfeiture - Justice account, which is part of the City's restricted fund
balance, had a balance of $133,436.33 at the end of fiscal year 2021.
