A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AND THE LAW FIRM OF
DIEDERICHS AND ELCONIN FOR PERSONNEL BOARD LEGAL COUNSEL
WHEREAS, legal services are budgeted in the City's Fiscal Year 2008-09 budget; and
WHEREAS, the Personnel Board has an immediate and ongoing need for third-party
legal counsel; and
WHEREAS, DIEDERICHS AND ELCONIN is a well respected law firm with extensive
experience in such matters; and
WHEREAS, the City and DIEDERICHS AND ELCONIN agreement is mutually
acceptable to the City and Firm;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Lynwood hereby finds, orders and resolves as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood hereby approves the form of
the City-Diederichs and Elconin Agreement attached hereto.
Section 2. That the Mayor is authorized to execute the Agreement.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7th day of April, 2009.
