SUMMARY STATEMENT: The Chief of Police recommends the
following actions: Council deny liquor license to the Forester’s Club based on numerous violations of City Code 4-2-6(A)1-4. Council deny beer license to the Forester’s Club based
on violations of City Code 4-1-5(A) and 4-1-5(B). Council deny wine license to the Forester’s Club based on violations of City Code 4-8-14(A) and 4-8-14(B). Refer to Chief Appa’s
attached memo for details regarding the referenced continuous and numerous violations. A copy of the City Code referenced is also attached. The City Attorney has rendered an opinion
regarding the recommendation, copy attached.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: The Council not issue the applied for beer, wine, and liquor licenses and direct the staff to return the fee submitted
to the applicant.
