CALL TO ORDER
The January 3, 2011, "Pre- Meeting" Work Session was convened at 5:47 P.M. by Mayor
John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: *Carroll (arrived at 5:50 P.M.), Griffith, Harvey, Koon, *Medin (arrived
at 5:50 P.M.), Penfold, Pope, Scrivner, Struemph, and Weber
Absent: None
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Bill 2010 -101 (Rescinding Ordinance 14743 - Surtax) Mayor John Landwehr stated that
County Collector Larry Vincent had corresponded and asked the Council to consider placing
this bill on the Informal Calendar due to ongoing negotiations with the affected entities.
*Councilwoman Carrie Carroll and Councilman Ron Medin arrived at this
point in the meeting
Bill 2010 -96 (Zoning for tattoo and body piercing businesses) - Councilman Eric
Struemph stated he wished to leave this on the Informal Calendar. Councilwoman Carrie
Carroll asked Councilman Struemph to explain in the following meeting his reasons for
allowing it issue to remain on the Informal Calendar so the public could be made aware of
them.
