SUMMARY STATEMENT: The Library has received an additional $1,475.00 in donations. $1,000.00 from an anonymous donor, and $375 from the Star
News, as well as $100 from various small donations. As this amount exceeds the budgeted amount in private contributions 25-98-040-970, the library would like to request that $1,475.00
be taken from the library contingent revenue line, 25-99-065-100 and moved into the book budget line 25-57-150-435, to be spent as directed.
Also, we received $80.00 from Chapala’s Restaurant
to partially fund the Dia de Los Ninos party on Friday, April 30. I would like $30 of these funds put in department supplies, 25-50-150-210, and $50.00 in Children’s books, 25-50-150-465.
This brings the grand total of the funds to be moved to $1555.00
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Have council approve transfer.
