SUMMARY STATEMENT:
A Bid Opening was held on August 20,
2004. Four bids were received:
Sommer Construction $656,365 (Sch. A $410,115 and Sch. B $246,250)
Paul Construction $493,792 (Sch. A $291,052 and Sch. B $202,740)
Crea Construction,
Inc. $467,923 (Sch. A $292,716 and Sch. B. $175,207)
Bodiford Construction $444,730 (Sch. A $271,941 and Sch. B $172,789)
Bodiford Construction was the apparent low bidder. Holladay
Engineering is reviewing the bids for completeness and compliance with the bid requirements.
Schedule A includes only the roadway portions of the project. Schedule B includes the remainder
of the drain & fill lines.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Pending Holladay’s review of the bids and the outcome of the Judicial Confirmation Hearing, staff will provide a complete recommendation
on August 26.
