SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Attached is a contract to APS HEALTHCARE NORTHWEST, INC. Employee Assistance Program services.
Previously, EAP services were
contracted with Business Psychology Services at a cost of $2.85 per employee, a fee which was administered through the Blue Cross Health plan. The BPS renewal rate for the 2005 fiscal
year would have been $3.29 per employee. A comparison of services was conducted between APS and BPS and revealed a lower premium amount and increased services (legal and financial advice)
through APS.
The APS contract locks in graduated rates for three years.
10/01/04 – 9/30/05 $2.49 per employee
10/01/05 – 9/30/06 $2.59 per employee
10/01/06 – 9/30/07 $2.69
