HomeMy Public PortalAbout2022-01-03 pre-meetingCITY COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, JANUARY 3, 2022 CALL TO ORDER In Mayor Carrie Tergin’s absence, Mayor Pro Tem Dave Kemna called the January 3, 2022 City Council “Pre-Meeting” to order at 5:45 P.M. to review the agenda. ATTENDANCE The following Councilmembers were present when the meeting convened: Present: Fitzwater, Hensley, Kemna, Lester, Schreiber, Spencer, Spicer, Vogt, Ward, and W iseman Absent: None A quorum was present. DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS Councilmember Schreiber will lead the prayer. Miscellaneous - Mayor Pro Tem Kemna will read a Pandemic Update provided by Kristi Campbell, Cole County Health Department Director. Consent Agenda - There were no questions at this time. Bills Introduced - Gail Strope, Human Resources Director will present bill 2021-074. The sponsor of the bill, Councilmember Hensley will request to suspend the rules. - Sonny Sanders, Director of Planning and Protective Services , will present bill 2021-075. Bills Pending - Katrina Williams, City Planner will present bill 2021-073. Resolutions - Ryan Moehlman, City Attorney will present RS2021-23. New Business - Councilmember Spencer said he will have an item under New Business, and he will bring it up at that time. CITY COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, JANUARY 3, 2022 Unfinished Business - Mr. Moehlman suggested the 101 Jackson Street Proposal from Transformational Housing be tabled for discussion indefinitely due to ongoing contract negotiations between Transformational Housing and the Housing Authority. ADJOURNMENT The meeting adjourned at 5:50 P.M.
