A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MCCALL, IDAHO
RELATING TO SURPLUS PERSONAL PROPERTY; DECLARING CERTAIN
PERSONAL PROPERTY OF THE CITY TO BE SURPLUS; AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE DISPOSAL OF THE SURPLUS PROPERTY TO THE MCCALL
FIRE PROTECTION SERVICE; PROVIDING FOR RELATED MATTERS; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of McCall, Valley County, Idaho (“City”) acquired a 1986
Chevrolet Suburban, vehicle identification number 1G8GK26MOGF194920 from the
Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office at no cost to the City; and
WHEREAS, the 1986 Chevrolet Suburban is no longer needed by the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City has deemed it unnecessary to maintain
ownership of the 1986 Chevrolet Suburban; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City desires to dispose of the 1986 Chevrolet
Suburban by donating it to the McCall Fire Protection Service, Valley County, Idaho.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
McCall, Idaho as follows:
Section 1: The City Council finds and declares that the City no longer has a use for the
1986 Chevrolet Suburban, vehicle identification number 1G8GK26MOGF194920, and
that it is surplus property.
Section 2: The City Council finds and declares that it is in the best interest of the City to
transfer the 1986 Chevrolet Suburban to the McCall Fire Protection Service at no cost.
Section 3: The City Clerk and/or City Manager are authorized to transfer legal title to the
1986 Chevrolet Suburban to the McCall Fire Protection Service.
Section 4: This Resolution shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its
passage and approval.
