SUMMARY STATEMENT:
There have been several new developments in the sewer system that need to be discussed:
Sludge removal and step
screen installation
Lift Station 7 capacity and reconstruction
1:1 Land Application Permit
J-Ditch Project blended effluent land application
These items are all significant issues in
the sewer fund that must be addressed. The 1:1 Land Application and the J Ditch Land Application status can have a significant effect on the City’s and Sewer District’s capacity to provide
sewer service.
New information is being gathered on these issues, some of which have developed within the past few days and weeks. More detail will be provided at the Council meeting.
